Treatment of varicose veins

Restore comfort and beauty to your legs

Safe and non-invasive treatments for varicose veins.

Varicose veins are a risk factor for thrombophlebitis and can cause skin changes, edema and chronic pain in the lower limbs over time. Generally, when the veins become faulty, they cause blood circulation problems.

When our venous system is dysfunctional and the muscular pumps are not sufficient to propel blood adequately towards the heart, it stagnates, subsequently damaging more valves and veins.

This process causes an increase in the pressure inside the vessels, causing significant blood congestion and the venous dilation in question with the various associated symptoms.

Intervention

1. Medical Evaluation

Targeted questionnaire and physical examination.
We always carry out an in-depth medical evaluation of the venous system using a questionnaire and a targeted physical examination, whether you consult for aesthetic or medical reasons.

2. Duplex Ultrasound

Performed on site by the doctor for a targeted evaluation of the superficial venous network.
We then complete the assessment with a duplex ultrasound targeted on the superficial venous network in order to identify more precisely the origin of the varicose veins and/or varicosities. This is an important step in developing the treatment plan that will be offered to you and contributes to obtaining better results.

3. Treatment

Surface and/or ultrasound-guided injections when indicated.
Once the treatment plan has been accepted, we proceed with the injections of sclerosing products into the veins (sclerotherapy). These can be surface injections or less superficial injections guided by ultrasound to treat larger veins.

4. Bandages and Counseling

After the injections, when necessary, a pressure dressing and a bandage of the leg are also performed.
