How it works ? Botulinum toxin is an anti-aging protein delivered in micro-doses to relax the muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles (forehead wrinkles, crow's feet) and the lines of bitterness caused by muscle contractions. This product also has an action on hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). It is also ideal for softening a square jaw (bruxism, hypertrophy of the jaws).

SESSION PROCEDURE
After cleaning and drying your skin, the aesthetic medicine expert begins by examining your face to find out which muscles need to be relaxed before your injection. The injection of Botox® is then performed using a micro-needle, in a delicate and painless manner. The amount of botulinum toxin used is carefully calculated and limited to what is strictly necessary, in order to erase the targeted wrinkles without risking distorting the natural expression of your face.
Immediately after the procedure, superficial redness may appear at the injection sites, but will disappear very quickly. Any trace of intervention or aesthetic care is then imperceptible to the eyes of others, pleasantly surprised by your newfound good looks.
The effect is never instantaneous. Botulinum toxin gradually blocks the acetylcholine receptors and the muscles gradually relax.
In 4 to 15 days on average, you will notice a subtle attenuation of wrinkles, fine lines and unsightly folds, your skin will regain its youthfulness and natural elegance with a smoother appearance. You will look younger, more rested, less worried, more toned, and this, with an effect lasting for approximately 3 to 6 months.
A touch-up or adjustment from the third week is possible if necessary.
SIDE EFFECTS
Following a botox injection, the most common side effect is characterized by redness in the treated area. Hematomas can also form. These side effects disappear naturally in the following days.
Other rarer side effects may develop, they often disappear after a few days:
- Edema
- Headaches
- Ptosis (falling) of the eyebrows and eyelids
- Uncontrolled contractions of the treated muscles
- Muscle tension
- Dry eye
